Question Can I use a Photometrics PVCam Camera with a DataCell DIG16 card for SmartCapture 2.0 ?Answer
No but you can with Smartcapture 2.1 - now read on! Photometrics have stopped supplying the DataCell card. They now supply their own PCI card. DataCell have released new drivers and libraries for their cards since Photometrics stopped supplying the DataCell card. Since the standard SmartCapture 2.0 package comes with the latest DataCell driver and libraries (it uses these for the other cameras), the standard SmartCapture 2.0 installer will not work for installations with a Photometrics camera connected via a DataCell DIG16 card. The SmartCapture 2.1 installer has been updated to include special versions of our device libraries together with the older versions of the Photometrics and DataCell files.
