Apple Macintosh Compatibility

Compatible with Mac OS versions: 8.1, 8.5, 8.5.1, 8.6, 9.0, 9.0.4, 9.1, 9.2.1, 9.2.2*, 10.2**

Note: Mac OS9.2.2 has a a buggy version of AppleScript which can cause SmartCapture to fail to startup corretcly. The solution is to download the AppleScript 1.8.2b3 unpack the files, drop them on the "System Folder" and restart your Mac.

Note: SmartCapture Satellite will run under MacOS X 10.2. There is currently a known problem with some of the scripting. This can be worked around simply by renaming a couple of scripts in the "Scripts" folder as follows:-

• Rename "Star tUp" to "Dont Start Up"
• Rename "Shut Down" to "Dont Shut Down"

Incompatible with Mac OS versions: pre 8.1 and 9.0.2

Minimum recommended memory 128 MB, 196MB or greater preferred.

Mac Hardware: any Mac PowerPC, G3 or newer preferred.

We have recently discovered that the Photometrics Nu300 (upgraded Nu200) camera does not work with the 867 MHz Power Mac G4 (Quick Silver) We are currently investigating this with camera manufacturers.
