Question Why can I not read filmstrips from a CD?Answer SmartCapture 2 does not currently support the reading of Filmstrips from read only media. This is because any changes that you make to the filmstrip - even changes such as adjusting the normalization levels - are persistent and so written back to the filmstrip. This is obviously impossible with a filmstrip on a read only disk such as a CD. The way around this is to first copy the filmstrip onto your hard disk.
